Shanti Claire Savarese created Skin Goddess with the philosophy that our face is what the world sees. Though it is not who we are, it is a complete reflection of what is going on in our whole being-physically, emotionally and spiritually. Think of how we glow when totally immersed in love...or how pale & pinched we look when we live excessively or are sleep-deprived.

Our skin's current condition is a result of a lifetime of living-how we eat & drink, exercise, daily habits, products we use, our beliefs-our body records it all.

At Skin Goddess, Shanti's passion lies in helping each client attain his or her most balanced, radiant beauty by providing outstanding spa experiences and lasting results through simple, wellness-based home care..

Shanti is a state licensed skin care specialist (New Jersey and Arizona) in practice since 1997. Before relocating to Arizona, Shanti managed The Bellezza Spa & Salon, in addition to being to being lead aesthetician and staff trainer. She has attended The International Dermal Institute (New York City and Philadelphia) and The Aveda Institute (New York City) for advanced skin care and spa body training.

Shanti brings extensive massage studies to her practice, being certified in Swedish massage, massage for clients with cancer, tui na and Thai floor massage.

In Arizona, Shanti expanded her studies to SomaEnergetics™ (vibrational healing) and reflexology. She graduated from The Arizona Institute of Reflexology in January of 2005, sat for her ARCB testing and became nationally certified in reflexology.

Shanti is a student of Yogic lifestyle, and as such, studies at Diamond Way Ayurveda (San Luis Obispo, CA) under noted teachers Melanie and Robert Sachs, as well as aromatherapy with Jeanne Rose (San Francisco) and Barry Kapp (master aromatherapist in the shamanic traditions) of Wisdom of the Earth (Sedona) whenever time permits.

Shanti is also mother to Monica, a ballerina-in-training whose dedication to dance has inspired Shanti to develop a self-care foot program for dancers of all styles.

Shanti's volunteer work includes the "Look Good, Feel Better" program with The American Cancer Society and The Cancer Concern (both in Ocean County, NJ) and currently with the Generations program of Banner Mesa Hospital in Mesa, AZ.
